Terrible experience at Ik Lodge. Room had a really bad smell, couldn't stay comfortably. And no TV in the room, even they don't provide blanket in the room.

Average rooms but they’re very clean and really valuable for the rate they charge. Super clean toilets. Toiletries smell really nice. Kudos to Mr. Nithin, what a great host!

His attitude suggests a disinterest in retaining clientele, and he demonstrates a lack of attentiveness during the check-in process. The staff are well-behaved and helpful, and everything from the bedsheets to the overall room setup felt clean and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a really solid option, especially for bachelors or anyone looking for a clean, no-nonsense, peaceful place to crash without complications.

Autos from the railway station or bus stand are easy to grab and cost around ₹100–200, or you can jump on a local bus that stops right in front for just ₹15 a person. The lodge is affordable, clean, and really comfortable – perfect for backpackers or travelers who want a solid, no-fuss place to stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, and the whole vibe felt safe and welcoming, even for solo women travelers. What makes it extra special is the Ayurvedic hospital on the top floor – it adds this lovely traditional Kerala touch and a bit of heritage charm to your stay. All in all, fantastic value for money.
